The Grant County Economic Development Council (Grant County EDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rhyanne Oates as the new Director of Business Retention and Expansion.
Rhyanne will be responsible for creating, overseeing, and implementing business retention and expansion initiatives for Grant County EDC. In this capacity, Rhyanne will play a crucial role in fostering and nurturing relationships with businesses across Grant County, identifying ways to support them, and spearheading initiatives to eliminate obstacles that could hinder success or growth.
Raised in Pilot Rock, a rural community in Eastern Oregon near Pendleton, Rhyanne earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Eastern Oregon University, further complimented with a recent MBA.
Executive Director Brant Mayo said, “Rhyanne brings with her a keen sense for relationship-building, and we are thrilled to have her enthusiasm and knowledge at Grant County EDC. We eagerly anticipate the promising journey ahead and the opportunities it will bring to our organization as well as our greater Grant County community.”
